Multi-Technician (Handyman Services)

Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and skilled multi Technician who can provide comprehensive handyman services. As a Multi Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across various areas. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently to deliver high quality services to our clients..

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance and Repairs: Perform maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general handyman work, to ensure the optimal functionality and appearance of residential or commercial properties.
  2. Installation and Assembly: Handle the installation and assembly of various fixtures, appliances, equipment, and furniture as required, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety guidelines.
  3. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues reported by clients, identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
  4. Customer Service: Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, answering questions, and providing guidance on maintenance and repair options.
  5. Work Order Management: Receive and prioritize work orders, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and within designated timeframes. Maintain accurate records of completed jobs and materials used.
  6. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks, ensuring the use of appropriate tools, equipment, and protective gear. Comply with applicable building codes and industry standards.
  7. Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, team members, and supervisors, providing updates on job progress and seeking guidance when needed.
  8. Equipment and Inventory: Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and inventory to ensure availability and functionality. Report any equipment issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional vocational or technical certifications in relevant trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.) are preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in performing maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across multiple trades. Experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in various handyman services such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs. Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment effectively.
  4. Floor Map Interpretation: Proficiency in reading and understanding floor maps is essential for efficient space utilization, furniture arrangement, and resource allocation within an organizational setting.
  5. Problem Solving: Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze situations and provide practical solutions.
  6. Customer Service: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients.
  7. Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  8. Safety Consciousness: Knowledge of safety protocols and practices to ensure a safe work environment for oneself and others.
  9. Adaptability: Flexibility to handle various tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  10. Valid Driver’s License: Possession of a valid driver’s license to travel to client locations and transport tools and equipment.
