Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Hard Services Cleaner. The Hard Services Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various areas of the facility, focusing on tasks related to hard surfaces and specialized cleaning requirements. The role requires attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to work independently to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Hard Surface Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of hard surfaces, including floors, walls, windows, and fixtures, using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques.
2. Specialized Cleaning: Utilize specialized cleaning tools, equipment’s, and materials to address specific cleaning needs, such as removing stains, polishing surfaces, or disinfecting high-touch areas.
3. Cleaning Schedules: Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent and efficient cleaning of assigned areas.
4. Waste Management: Dispose of waste and recyclables properly, adhering to recycling guidelines and maintaining cleanliness of trash receptacles.
5. Supplies and Equipment: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment as needed, reporting any shortages or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
6. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to ensure coordinated and effective cleaning operations.
8. Maintenance and Hazards: Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or cleaning requirements beyond the scope of regular duties to the supervisor.
9. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including areas cleaned, time spent, and supplies used.
10. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and requests from building occupants or visitors in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Previous Experience: Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a commercial or residential setting, is preferred but not mandatory. Training can be provided for motivated candidates.
3. Cleaning Knowledge: Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials for various hard surfaces.
4. Safety Awareness: Understanding of safety procedures and guidelines related to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
5. Time Management: Ability to follow cleaning schedules, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
6. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning results.
7. Physical Stamina: Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects weighing around 50lbs.
8. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9. Reliability: Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic is an asset to make relationships stronger with client as well as with the management.
10. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate cleaning requirements and special events.
11. Familiarization with Commercial/Industrial Cleaning Equipment’s: Must possess a good understanding and familiarity with a range of commercial and industrial cleaning equipment utilized in hard service cleaning tasks. This includes knowledge of floor scrubbers, pressure washers, carpet cleaners, and other relevant machinery
